The Infrastructure Engineering and Energy Development Graduate Program (PPGINDE) is linked to the Nucleus of Amazonian Development in Engineering (NDAE). Headquartered in the city of Tucuruí, Pará, the course was created in 2016 with an Academic Master's Degree and counts on the institutional support of the Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil S.A. (Eletronorte) and the Municipality of Tucuruí.
PPGINDE's main objective is the scientific and technological development of the Amazon region and, consequently, the country, enabling the qualification of professionals to work in the region in the face of the growing demand for human resources prepared to deal with the reality and the regional problems, which is home to major projects in the field of energy generation and mineral extraction.
PPGINDE, as an Academic Master, seeks to train professionals capable of developing activities in the field of teaching, research and extension. Allied to this, the course has also focused on practical activities, providing subsidies so that the trained professional can be active in different activities in projects related to infrastructure and energy development.
